The Trails & Riding.

Val Argentina was the first freeride area in Italy with van shuttles, started in the year 2000 by Argentina Bike. For the past 4 years we have continued to developed the area further, maintaining and improving existing trails as well as constructing many new trails.

These trails have now expanded to many other valleys including Nervia and Roya in France with over 40 pistes with a combined total of 30,000 vertical metres and 350km long.

Although the Val Argentina is known for its steep sided technical trails with many double black runs appealing to the hardened freerider, we have since opened many easier runs and now have trails to suit all abilities.

The diversity of the trails is incredible from timber north shore and jumps, never ending fast smooth singletrack to technical switchbacks and rocky outcrops, through pine and beech forest, alpine meadows, coastal and mule trails… with very rarely any mud… it’s all here and often on a single trail!

Each trail is on average 8km long and about 1000m vertical height, however our longer runs last for over 15km and nearly 2000m vertical.

To gain access to these trails we have a fleet of minibuses, including 4x4 which allows us to reach trailheads in the more remote hinterland of the Val Argentina. We also have trailers specifically designed to load in seconds and with an average shuttle time of 15 minutes, there is less travelling, so more riding!

Our unique bike playground, a hidden corner of Liguria unknown to the masses which we now want to share with you. No queues, no crowds, no brake bumps and washed out trails, just you, your bike, the great outdoors and of course awesome riding.

We also operate along with our friends in:

San Romolo.

Famous or infamous for its downhill course, one of the toughest and physical courses there is and claimant of many a broken bike. Thankflly there are many other easier runs. The trails are sandy with plenty of big sandstone slabs and provide breathtaking views high over San Remo and the Med from Mt Bignone. Often we link San Romolo with Molini to give a true Alp to Sea ride in day. This area provides ideal winter riding.

Diano Marina / Cervo

Newly opened this year and home to the first 2009 "super endure" race. It has 4 new Freeride pistes, littered with drops and jumps, berms and great sea views. Perfect any time of the year especially for the winter.

Upega / Nava.

Again another new area high in Val Tannaro, with a very alpine feel, plenty of pine forest singletrack littered with drops and chutes. Open during the summer months.

Finale Ligure & Calizzano.

And of course there is the well known Finale Ligure and Calizzano, all in all giving you over a 1000 km of sweet singletrack and all accessible by shuttle.

Molini, Val Argentina & Val Armea.

Below is a current list of trails in Val Argentina and Armea. Trail grading is given on technical difficulty with blue as easiest and double black as very technical.
